Did YOU come to the Bridal Show?!

BridalShow1
Thanks to everyone who stopped by my booth at the St. Andrews Womans Club Bridal Showcase at the SC State Fairgrounds yesterday.
It's always a lot of work getting ready, but definitely worth it.  I enjoy meeting so many newly engaged brides and grooms, even if my feet are aching.

If you got a packet of information from me there, be sure to check out the show specials on the pink paper.  If you missed getting a packet of information, just send me an e-mail and I'll get one in the mail to you right away!   patty@hallmanphoto.com

Catching Up!

If you're a regular blog reader of mine, you've probably noticed a gap in postings for the past couple months.  My apologies!  We're working on a brand new blog, so have been putting new stuff there and getting it ready to unveil.

You can get a preview of the new blog at www.HallmanPhotoBlog.com.

Let me know what you think!

Meanwhile, I wanted to share some of what I've been doing for the last couple months, so here are some of the last few couples whose weddings we've photographed...

I wish all my blog readers a very Happy New Year and hope you'll keep checking back to see my new blog!

One Year Later for Mater!

If you're a regular blog reader of mine, you may remember seeing my blog entry this time last year with the puppies I was adopting out.  We had a stray momma hound dog who had 11 pups outside my studio window, so I had my hands full for a couple months until I found homes for all of them.
Well, I just photographed "Mater" one year later!  Mater was one of the first pups I adopted out to Kandace and Micheal from Lexington.  He looks like his momma, the hound dog, from the neck down, and like his Sharpei-mix dad from the neck up.  It was great to see one of the pups all grown up.
Here's a photo of Mater (or one of his similar looking siblings) a year ago, and one of Mater today...Puppy4 Mater0082a
Good Boy, Mater!  And thank you to Kandace and Michael for bringing Mater over for the reunion of sorts!!

Gracie and Charlie

I've been wanting to create this image for a couple years at least, and have talked about it with Gracie's mom several times.  Well, we finally set up a date and time to shoot this image.  It was supposed to be set on a dreary, rainy day.  What we ended up with was a very warm, sunny late October afternoon.  But, with a little strategic shooting and Photoshop magic, I think I got close to what I had envisioned.
Thanks to Gracie, her dog Charlie, and mom and brother for making this shot possible!Gracie-60f

Amber and Mike's Charleston Wedding

November 8th was the big day for Amber and Mike.  They tied the knot underneath a beautiful gazebo in Hampton Park in downtown Charleston while family and friends gathered round.
We made a stop at the Battery for sunset photos before heading to their dinner reception off King Street where a good time was had by all.
Amber and Mike, I'll have your proofs ready in a couple weeks, but meanwhile enjoy these sneak previews!AmberMike2IMG_6642 AmberMike1IMG_0013 AmberMike2IMG_6699 AmberMike3IMG_6600 AmberMike1IMG_0174 AmberMike3IMG_0058 AmberMike3IMG_0088a AmberMike4IMG_0128

Jen and John's Wedding in Tamassee, SC

Congratulations to Jen and John who were married on November 1st at John's parents home in Tamassee, SC.  Tamassee is about 30 minutes northwest of Clemson, SC, so it was a beautiful setting for a fall outdoor wedding.  Jen's dog/baby "Karma" walked with mom down the aisle and gave John her blessing.
Here are a few sneak previews, Jen and John!JenJohn3IMG_0004

Rebecca and David's Wedding

October 18th was the big day for Rebecca and David.  We started our photos at Folly Beach where the couple and Bec's family got ready.  Then it was off to downtown Charleston for a beautiful ceremony and reception at The William Aiken House on King Street.  This is one incredible location for weddings!
Here are some of my favorite images of the couple...BecDavid01 BecDavid02 BecDavid03 BecDavid04   BecDavid08 BecDavid11 BecDavid09 BecDavid07 BecDavid06 BecDavid10

Trisha and Kevin's Charleston Wedding

October 11th was the big day for Trisha and Kevin with their wedding at the Charleston Air Force Base Chapel.  It was a non-stop rainy day, but that did not put a damper on the mood of the day.  Kevin and Trisha were all smiles even when getting rained on for their post-ceremony photos at the country club reception.
Here are a few images to enjoy, Trisha and Kevin.  The proofs will be ready soon!Trisha-Kevin2 Trisha-Kevin3 Trisha-Kevin6 Trisha-Kevin7 Trisha-Kevin4 Trisha-Kevin5 Trisha-Kevin1
